BILLINGS — Big changes ahead day by day this week across Eastern Montana and Northern Wyoming. Here is the general forecast:
Sunday night: Mostly clear with lows in the 30s in most locations.
Monday: Still warmer than average with highs well in the 50s to mid-60s. Winds increase in the Upper Yellowstone and Stillwater valleys by the afternoon.
Tuesday: Cooler with area rain and snow showers plus periods of gusty winds. Highs manly in the 40s.
Wednesday through Thursday: Colder with accumulating snow. Much of the area will see a quick 3 to 5 inches with 6 to 9 inches in some areas.
Friday morning: Cold with lows in the teens.
Friday and Saturday: Warming and drying.

Sunday night…Mostly clear with a low of about 34.
Monday…Increasing clouds and near 63 for a high. Breezy periods.
Tuesday…Rain likely during the day with rain and snow later. High around 48.
