BILLINGS — Good morning and TGIF!

High pressure will keep things dry this afternoon, but tonight could be a different story. Going with a slight chance for rain as a quick blast of energy out of the Pacific attempts to kick up a few showers tonight into tomorrow morning. Higher elevations have a decent chance of picking up a couple of inches of snow starting this afternoon.

Expect dry conditions Saturday into Sunday ahead of another front that will give the region a better chance for snow Sunday night into Monday morning. The best shot for precipitation will fall along north-west facing terrain including higher elevations southeast of Billings down to the Sheridan area.

Tuesday afternoon looks to be dry as ridging takes over briefly ahead of another disturbance that will attempt to bring a few snow showers to the area Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Through the weekend, daytime highs will mainly be in the 40s with overnight lows in the 20s and 30s.

Keep smiling!
