BILLINGS — From warm to hot.
As the wet and cooler weather moves further away, ridging high pressure moves in.
A warmer airflow out of the southwest beginning Sunday is expected to bring Billings the first 80 degree day since September 16, 2019.
The 80s stick around for a few days – long enough for mountain snow melt to greatly increase downstream flow.
The possibility of strong to severe thunderstorms is on the horizon for Tuesday, mainly west of Billings.
