BILLINGS — Snow showers move in.

Winter Weather Advisories are posted tonight through Sunday for much of south central and southeast Montana and northwest Wyoming.

Cold air and snowfall across the region will create some hazards Saturday night through Sunday night.

Accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected into Sunday.

Overnight temps will fall into the teens and 20s tonight, and warm only into the 20s and mid 30s Sunday.

Blowing snow, slick roads and gusty winds will limit visibility and make for hazardous driving at times as well as create problems for young livestock.

The forecast for Billings

Tonight: Colder with an 80% chance of snow – an inch accumulation possible – north winds 15 to 25 mph and a low of 20.

Sunday: Colder with a 70% chance of snow – an inch or less accumulation – north winds 5 to 15 mph and a high of 28.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy and colder with a 20% chance of snow and a low of 18.

Monday: Partly cloudy and cool with a high of 34.
