BILLINGS — We'll have a breezy and mild Friday.
A severe thunderstorm passing through Yellowstone County late Thursday night and early Friday morning brought thunder, lightning, gusty winds, small hail and brief heavy rain to the area.
A passing trough of low pressure will trigger some wind in the Billings area Friday, and some afternoon and evening thunderstorms in eastern Montana.
After another mild and breezy day today, mostly dry and hot weather pattern will move into the region for the weekend. Sunday afternoon highs will climb into the mid 90s.
Starting Monday, the weather will trend cooler with isolated showers for a good portion of next week.
