BILLINGS — Another snowy night ahead

Winter Weather Advisories remain in effect for much of central, south central and southeast Montana and north central Wyoming through Sunday morning.

An additional 1 to 4 inches of snow are possible across the plains with more accumulation in the foothills.

Winter Storm Warnings remain in effect for the mountains south and west of Billings through Sunday morning.

Expect slick roads and bridges, limited visibility and occasional blowing snow in the region tonight through Sunday morning.

Clearing skies and cool mid-February highs are expected Sunday afternoon.

The forecast for Billings

Tonight: Cold with a 90% chance of snow – an inch or so accumulation likely – north winds 15 to 25 mph with occasional blowing snow and a low of 19.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, west winds 5 to 15 mph and a high of 33.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy and breezy, a 20% chance of flurries and a low of 21.

Monday: Mostly cloudy, a 30% chance of snow showers and a high of 36.
