BILLINGS — Warm and sunny weather for a few more hours.
High pressure will begin to break down late Monday as another round of colder, wet weather heads toward eastern Montana.
Monday afternoon highs will reach into the low 60s across the plains.
Along with increasing clouds by late afternoon, gusty winds will increase, especially over the upper Yellowstone and Stillwater valleys.
Tuesday’s weather will transition into much cooler temperatures and scattered showers.
Colder air settles in on Wednesday, along with a good chance for 3 to 5 inches of snow in the Billings area by noon Thursday.

Today: Sunny and warm with southwest winds 5 to 15 mph and a high of 62.
Tonight: Increasing clouds and mild, southwest winds 5 to 15 mph, a 30% chance of showers after 3am and a low of 37.
Tuesday: Cooler with a 60% chance of am rain and snow, changing to rain showers with northwest winds 10 to 20 mph and a high of 45.
