BILLINGS — It is another beautiful day in our neighborhood, especially on such a holiday as this, Memorial Day.

In the early afternoon we have 66 degrees in Billings and a Southwest wind at 9 mph.

Around the rest of the state. The current temps are mostly into the 60s out in the West with a few places where we do see some 70s around the state.

The Doppler radar shows you not much rain is moving across Montana, just a few spotty showers in the corners.

In the Northwest corner we have some light scattered rain showers up there and the same thing in Carter County, in the Southeast.

But we do have this still going for us, a flood warning for the Clark fork River North of Missoula, that's about a foot out of its banks and expected to recede over the next couple of days.

The high-resolution forecast model shows were expecting generally dry conditions this afternoon we could see some spotty showers develop later tonight, in the Western part of the Montana.

Most of the showers continue to stay out there. It really isn't until Wednesday morning, that we start to see some rain move into the Billings area.

We think it may be around 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning before we see the showers in Billings.

Most of those showers move out of here by early afternoon and head for the Southeast corner the state.

Our temperatures will continue to stay in the 60s to low 70s for the rest of the afternoon, then drop back down to the 50s in the morning and back up into the low 70s again Tuesday afternoon.

We will top out at 77 on Tuesday, cool down a 73 on Wednesday, then slowly worker way up into the low 90s by the time the weekend gets here.

Here again we go from snowfall in Red Lodge this past weekend and up into the 90s by the next weekend. Welcome to spring-time in Montana.
