BILLINGS — Still some slick conditions, with additional light snow possible in portions of the region.
Icy conditions can still be found in much of the region Monday morning. Use caution on roadways and sidewalks as conditions can change quickly.
Expect a mix of clouds and sun Monday, with increasing clouds during the afternoon. A band of snow showers will develop across the region favoring Billings towards the east.
Accumulations looked to be light through the evening, but a little wobble in the weather system could spread snow farther to the west, or set up bands of heavier snow.
High temperatures will be in the 30s from Billings towards the east on Monday with 20s in the Eastern Plains. Overnight temperatures will drop mainly the teens but again trending colder was single digits in Eastern Montana closer to the Dakotas.
Overall quieter Tuesday with highs mainly in the 30s but remaining chilly in northeastern Montana. The overall trend is a bit warmer toward the middle of the week.
Billings forecast:
Monday… Increasing clouds with a high near 37. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph.
Monday night… Area snow showers would light accumulations. Around 19 for the low.
Tuesday… A mix of clouds and sun and about 39 for the high.
