BILLINGS — Overall, a quiet weather pattern with a few wrinkles.
After areas of patchy morning fog and some cloudiness Thursday, some clearing is expected through the afternoon. Highs will be mainly in the upper 20s to upper 30s with a light variable wind.
Overnight, a bit of a wind will develop down the East mountain slopes it will help to dry the area out. Overnight temperatures will drop to 15 to 25 degrees.
Expect plenty of sun Friday with high temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. A bit of cloudiness on Saturday holds temperatures into the mid-20s to mid 30s.
A series of disturbances will keep a chance of scattered rain or snow showers going Sunday through Wednesday. Highs should be in the mid to lower 40s Tuesday and Wednesday with scattered showers to welcome the new year.
