BILLINGS — Sunshine returns Thursday afternoon.
Winter Weather Advisories for southeast Montana and north central to northeast Wyoming will stay in effect through midnight Thursday.
The Beartooth/Absaroka mountains will have a Winter Storm Warning and a Winter Weather Advisory for the foothills – both expiring Friday morning.
Morning snow showers will continue to move east as clearing skies move in from the northwest.
Area wind chills this morning and Friday morning could dip as low as 10 below zero.
Sub-freezing daytime highs today and single digit lows tonight will give way to a gradual warming trend beginning Friday.
