BILLINGS — The sun comes out again

That winter storm system will continue to move east and out of the region Saturday evening.

Winter Storm Warnings will remain in place through the night for portions of Montana east and south of Billings, and for northeast Wyoming.

Expect more light accumulation, gusty winds and blowing snow in the affected areas.

Road conditions in the region are bad with packed snow, black ice, and reduced visibility.

Many of Wyoming’s roads are closed or available only for limited emergency travel. Be sure to check the Wyoming Road Report before heading in that direction this weekend.

Sunshine came out late in the day Saturday for much of south central Montana including the Billings area.

Expect a warming trend, but with blowing snow and cold wind chill factors at times Sunday and Monday.
