BILLINGS — A few hiccups before we settle into more “spring-like” weather.
A few snow showers will persist Friday evening through early Saturday, especially in areas north and west of Billings. Brief bands of heavier snow are possible, and areas east of Roundup could see flurries early Saturday.
Saturday morning is still chilly, with lows in the teens and 20s. Saturday afternoon will continue the Friday trend of warming with highs in the upper 40s to upper 50s with sunshine. A little breezy in the mountain foothills, otherwise light winds.
A warming trend continues Sunday through Tuesday, when highs could reach the mid-60s in some areas. A few showers are expected Monday, and perhaps someone will hear a bit of thunder.
Billings forecast:
Friday night… Partly cloudy to mostly clear with a low near 28. Light southwest breeze.
Saturday… Sunny to mainly sunny with a high of about 51.
Sunday and Monday… Upper 50s to low 60s for highs and lows warm to the 30s. Isolated showers Monday.
