BILLINGS — Still on track for snow by late in the weekend.
Lingering Thursday morning snow showers have created some slick travel. Use caution, slow down, and leave a little extra space between you and the next driver.
A mix of clouds and sun Thursday and Friday with high temperatures mainly in the mid-30s to mid-40s. Showers are generally light.
Snow could be heavy in northern Montana on Friday through Saturday, and some of that snow will swing through southern Montana starting Saturday afternoon through Sunday.
Higher snow totals are expected near the mountains, and latest analysis suggests 1 to 3 inches around Billings with locally higher amounts.
Highs will be in the 30s Saturday and 20s Sunday. Lows will slip to single digits and teens.

Thursday… partly cloudy with a high near 44. Westerly wind 5 to 15 mph.
Thursday night… Mostly cloudy and about 27 for a low.
Friday… Mostly cloudy with isolated afternoon showers. Around 42 for a high.
