Starting out the day cold, but not as cold as yesterday. Temps are around 30 here in Billings.

Of Note Today:

Wind Advisory still in effect for Livingston, Fishtail and Mcleod till 9pm Sat. Could see gusting winds up to 70 MPH.

High Wind Warning for Big Timber, Harlowton and Melville till Sat. Evening. Could see gusts up to 60 MPH

High Wind Warning also in and around Logan Pass/Great Falls till Sat. 6pm. Gusts up to 70 MPH. Blowing and Drifting snow.

Traveling in these areas may be difficult. Please use caution, especially if operating a high profile vehicle.

Also some snow and wither weather in the west.

Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 3pm today till 5pm Sat in several parts of Western MT. Snow expected above 6,000 feet. Winds could be gusting up to 50 MPH.

Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory’s in and around Yellowstone National Park/Grand Teton NP through Sat. Could see 10 – 18" of snow. Strong winds as well.

Daytime Today:

Cool, clear with wind for most of the region. Temps in the 40’s.

Tonight:

Cold, clear with wind. Temps drop into the 30’s for most places.

Tomorrow (Saturday):

Manly clear. Temps back up into the 40’s and winds will be steady across the region, with strong gusts in certain spots.

Sunday - Friday:

Sunday will still be a windy day around the region, but temps will be back up into the 40’s.

Temps will nose into the 50s in several locations Monday and by Tuesday we could be into the high 50’s and low 60’s. Warmer and clear for most of the week ahead.
