BILLINGS — A Brazilian grill. Doing healthy better? That is Five on Black's motto and they are sending the message they are open and here for you.
By marking where you need to stand to keep a healthy social distance, Five on Black is open and giving back to families in need.
Josh Catt, the general manager of Five on Black on the west end of Billings, says the restaurant has asked customers if they would be willing to sponsor someone in need.
"Locally we have about nine organizations we are sending food to like the Billings Food Bank," he said.
Five on Black offers a completely gluten free menu and is keeping its door open for a healthy option when it comes to eating locally.
Catt says they are making the bowls for those in need at cost, to help support their staff and food costs.
"It keeps jobs in the door, it provides access for customers to get quality food and it’s been awesome," Catt said. "So far we have about 1,700 bowls that customers have bought, so out of their own pockets. They have said sure."
Catt added that not only has it been amazing to see the community give back while they keep their door open, its been even more refreshing to see how all local businesses have been coming together to make sure everyone is supported during this difficult time.
"I have never seen so much information online, advertisers, radio stations radio advertisers," he said. "Everybody is buy local and it’s like this great connection."
Five on Black is open and giving back to those in need at this unfamiliar time and encourage you to come in and help support.
